As part of the Tosoh Group, we implement the corporate sustainability strategy locally and contribute to the environmental, safety, and health goals set at the corporate level.
Tosoh has been committed to the global Responsible Care initiative since 1995 as a founding member of the Japan Responsible Care Council (JRCC).
Guided by our Basic Principles of Environment, Safety, and Health, we develop Responsible Care action plans to continuously improve performance - from workplace safety and environmental protection to climate action and product stewardship.
The role that chemical manufacturers must play in realizing a sustainable and prosperous society is becoming increasingly important. Under the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV), Tosoh is engaged in innovative research and development that creates unprecedented new value, with the aim of creating products that address social issues in line with the SDGs. We are also strengthening our businesses that will contribute to the society of the future by focusing on three areas: “Life Sciences,” “Electronic Materials,” and “Environment & Energy.”
