ALEX² - Allergy Xplorer is an in-vitro multiplex allergy test for measurement of specific IgE (sIgE) antibodies against ~300 different allergens. It is based on Component Resolved Diagnostics (CRD), consisting of molecular allergens produced using recombinant DNA technology and purified characterized extracts. Molecular allergens enhance the specificity of allergy diagnostics by identifying the exact allergenic protein responsible for causing the allergic reaction. ALEX² revolutionizes the framework of allergy testing by providing a holistic overview of patient's allergic status.
