Description

An IgG-mediated food intolerance is a Type-III hypersensitivity reaction which can be triggered by any food. Symptom-triggering foods can be identified by detecting food-specific IgG antibodies in human serum. FOX is a dedicated food intolerance multiplex microarray test for the determination of specific IgG against 286 food antigens. FOX can be used in case of reasonable suspicion of immunologically caused food intolerance. It can be used to support dietary clarification and to monitor dietary compliance. It covers a wide range of commonly consumed foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, meat, seafood, nuts and more. This wide coverage provides a comprehensive picture of potential intolerances that could be affecting the patient. FOX is developed based on a proprietary nano-bead technology, ensuring optimization of every food antigen immobilized on the solid phase.
