CLIA is a widely used diagnostic technique that combines the specificity of antigen–antibody reactions with the sensitivity of chemiluminescent detection. In CLIA, light emitted from a chemical reaction is measured to quantify target analytes, enabling quantitative detection even at very low concentrations. CLIA is applied across a broad diagnostic menu, including the measurement of hormone levels, tumor markers and other clinically important analytes, helping clinicians to make informed patient management decisions.
